These Terms & Conditions govern access to and use of the softlat.com website and set out the general framework for the services provided by Softlat. By using the site, you accept these terms.
The specific scope, price, and conditions of each project are governed by the commercial proposal and the specific agreement signed with the client, which prevail over these general terms.
1. Use of the site and services
The softlat.com site is informational: it presents Softlat's services and facilitates commercial contact. You agree to use it lawfully and not to take actions that could damage, overload, or compromise its operation or security.
Software development services are contracted separately through a specific proposal and agreement, which define the scope, timelines, price, and responsibilities of each party.
2. Intellectual property
The “Softlat” brand, the logo, the texts, the design, and other site content are owned by Softlat or its respective owners and are protected by intellectual property law. Their reproduction or use without authorization is not permitted.
Regarding software developed for clients, ownership of the source code is governed by what is agreed in each project's agreement; our usual policy is to deliver the source code to the client upon project completion.
3. Disclaimer of warranties
The website is provided “as is” and “as available”. Although we strive to keep the information correct and up to date, we do not warrant that the site is error-free or available without interruption.
Warranties relating to software projects delivered to clients are those expressly set out in writing in the corresponding agreement.
4. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Softlat shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the website.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
5. Third-party links
The site may contain links to third-party services (for example, WhatsApp or the app stores). Softlat does not control and is not responsible for the content or privacy policies of those third parties; we recommend reviewing their terms.
6. Changes
We may modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. The current version will always be the one published on this page, with its last-updated date. Continued use of the site after a change implies acceptance.
7. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Plurinational State of Bolivia. Any dispute shall be submitted to the competent courts of Cochabamba, Bolivia, without prejudice to the rights granted to the user by consumer protection law.
